I don't know why this film got such a low rating on DVDSpot. Before I rated it, Fear Runs Silent had a 0.50 star rating.
Now, most people that are familiar with me know I collect movies that feature Cerina Vincent. However her part in this movie was small, so that isn't a factor in my rating.
The acting in the film isn't about to win anyone any awards, but it was watchable. The story was interesting. While the movie's conclusion is somewhat predictable, it's also a little confusing. I feel like it's one of those movies you'll need to watch two or three times to get everything out of it.
There's nothing super convincing about the film, but it's one of the better B-level films I've seen. It's surely a multiple watcher and I really liked it. I don't feel it deserves the low rating it has on DVDSpot. 4.50 out of 5.00 stars in my oh-so humble opinion.
